So here is my freshly done 4th tattoo. Wanted it for a good while now but the actual tattooing was spur of the moment - I have been having a crap time recently and now family issues mean the next few days are going to be really hard for me, so I decided to give myself a little treat/boost. It’s on my hip so it’s also kind of a celebration because I’ve lost weight - I wouldn’t get a tattoo done there unless I was okay(ish) with how my tummy looks. It’s based on a shot from Steamboat Willie - I have always loved Disney classics and the early cartoons and I just really like his little downcast face. The expression just feels genuine and touching. And to be honest I have felt like that little Mickey too many times in my life! Done at Under The Skin, Aldershot

this is so wonderful
life:
“I headed to the hospital first, but it was chaos — journalists, photographers, onlookers. So I headed over to Einstein’s office [at the Institute for Advanced Study]. On the way, I stopped and bought a case of scotch. I knew people might be reluctant to talk but that they’re usually happy to accept a bottle of booze, rather than money, in exchange for their help. Anyway, I get to the building, find the superintendent, offer him a fifth of scotch and like that, he opens up the office.”
— Ralph Morse
The rest, in a very real sense, is history. Here, the result: Albert Einstein’s office at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey, photographed just as he left it.
Here is the close up of the Tribal Treble Clef done by Trevor at Falcon’s Tattooing in Columbus, GA! It was my first, which I got on my 18th birthday, in honor of my deceased father. It is the G Clef he had on his left upper arm, but I “tribaled” it, because I love the look. Always will be my favorite.
